The @Risk Rescue System is a ‘one-stop emergency station’ for use in institutional and other settings, where persons may be at-risk for known, life-threatening emergencies. Some of the life-threatening emergency issues addressed by the @Risk Rescue System include:
- Anaphylaxis caused by allergies to foods, such as shellfish, milk, eggs, nitrates, soybeans, nuts, wheat, and MSG, or to bites and stings caused by insects such as wasps or bees, or to latex
- Severe asthma attacks
- Angina attacks
- Severe diabetic hypoglycemia
- Epileptic seizures and other seizure disorders
The @Risk Rescue System consists of two main components: the Rescue Station plus any combination of the Rescue Kits and/or TR Rescue Kits, up to 20 per Station.
